This is the most disappointing movie I've ever watched in my lifetime. Singapore's first local movie that I watch and it has managed to make my face become flat without any expression even I almost deep asleep when watching this movie. As seen from the story, this movie is kinda boring to me. Fortunately it was aided by a sophisticated and amazing visual effects. So at least there's still one thing that can be enjoyed from this movie.
I think Indonesia has the quality of movie that is so much better than this especially if seen from the screenplay of the story and the strength of character of the figures. Another thing that helped me survive for long sitting in that theaters is a cozy studio with excellent audiovisual quality. I admit the Golden Village is indeed much better than 21 or XXI in Jakarta. But really, "Ah Boys To Men" is not recommended, at least to me...
