Gorgeously Lombok...

Gambar ini diambil saat kami melalui sebuah terowongan air yang berlokasi di kawasan Tiu Kelep, kaki Gunung Rinjani, Pulau Lombok, NTB (Sabtu, 24 Agustus 2013).

Unbelievable! Finally we were able to pass through this tunnel! It's very dark, narrow, potholed roads, overflowing streams of water which is heavy and cold from mountain springs. Look at our faces! Trying to keep a smile even though very scared. One of the most extreme we've ever tried!

This experience reminded me of a quote:
“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese

I strongly agree with that quote. I have proved that traveling is indeed a brutality. A brutality that brought you to freedom, true courage, complete happiness, and a more vibrant life.
